Laoudiba: the cohesion tournament final ends in a draw, and the trophy goes to the sub-prefect

The final of the Laoudiba social cohesion tournament, in the Bondoukou department, ended in a draw on Sunday between the Laoudiba and Laoudigan teams. No winner was declared, and the trophy was handed to sub-prefect Kouya Gon Thierry.
The ten teams taking part each received a set of shirts, a prize designed so that the competition leaves something material in every village, beyond the standings.
Also present were Kassouri Drissa, patron and president of the Bondoukou youth association for mutual aid and solidarity, the sub-prefect of Yézimala Akoré née Bodo Lydie Marcelle, businessman Adou Kofi Théodore and the mayor of Bondoukou.
In a border area where coexistence between communities receives close attention, these tournaments serve as much to bring young people onto the pitch as to bring local authorities together. What remains to be confirmed: the timing of a next edition.
